Maradona and Pelé were arguably the two most iconic figures in the history of football, considered gods of the sport. Their personas united entire nations and communities, who fell in love with the athletic feats that these two players could transform into works of art. I decided to celebrate them with two illustrations that capture their essence, which extended beyond the football field.
